Once you start using Citrix inside the office you will want to have access to all the programs that you had on your local PC. The Dymo LabelWriter is no exception. I scoured the Internet looking for a solution to get our Dymo LabelWriters on Citrix but never found the details. Well, here’s how I did it: Parts: Dymo LabelWriter 400 or 450 Dymo LabelWriter Print Server Dymo Label Software version 7.8.08 Dymo LabelWriter Driver only download (LabelWriterDrivers-x86.msi) Windows Server 2003 print server Steps: • Install Dymo LabelWriter Print Sever on network with fixed IP address. • Install Dymo drivers on Windows 2003 server that acts as your Citrix print server. • Install Dymo Label Software version 7.8.08 on Citrix servers • Go to the Citrix Presentation Server Console and update your Citrix printer driver configuration and make sure all your Citrix servers have the Dymo driver showing. • The final step is to go to each Citrix server and make a connection to each Dymo that is attached to your print server, i.e.

• Publish the Dymo LableWriter software. • At each client machine you will need to open the Dymo application and answer the prompt about Dymo not being able to find its address book. • Now go to the File menu and change the Dymo printer to the one closest to the user. • Finally, if the user had a Dymo Address Book located on the network you can connect it so their addresses are available in Citrix. Note: I tried different Dymo versions (8.x+) and they were not happy on our Citrix servers at all.
